Pastor Dr. Jonathan Jermaine Jordan

Dr. Jonathan Jermaine Jordan, in 1997 his academic upbringing led him to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. In 1999 Dr. Jordan Competed Bachelors Degree from California State University in Los Angeles earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and Health Education. In December 20, 2005 Jonathan Jordan receive his Doctor of Divinity form Tabernacle Bible College and Seminary in Tampa Florida.
While in California, Dr. Jordan accepted his 1997 calling to work with the youth at Liberty Tabernacle Church in the Los Angeles area. By 1998, he was Licensed and Ordained by Pastor David Cross where he then served as Youth Pastor. His pastoral responsibilities required him to preach every second Sunday to the youth, teach weekly youth Bible Study lessons, and coordinate the two annual Youth Conferences.
In 2000, Dr. Jordan became Youth Pastor of St. Mark Missionary Baptist Cathedral, where his father, Bishop Willie L. Jordan serves as Pastor for over 32 years. As Youth Pastor Dr. Jordan taught Sunday school to young adults and Bible Study lessons to the youth, facilitated the youth prison ministry, initiated the Big Brothers Mentoring Program, provided pastoral care, heightened volunteer recruitment, implemented the annual Youth Explosion, and preached every second Sunday.
Youth Pastor Jonathan has become nationally and internationally known speaking in 12 North American states, 3 Canadian states, and abroad in Beijing, China. Dr. Jordan served as the Assistant Pastor to Bishop Willie L. Jordan. His ministerial duties require him to manage daily administrative operations; coordinate annual conferences, retreats, revivals, fundraisers, and job fairs; provide pastoral care and counseling; perform funerals, weddings, baptisms, and baby blessings. He also supervised twenty-eight associate ministers, and campaigns to provide economic funding for the community programs, neighboring community schools, and community job opportunities.
In 2001 he played a key role in orchestrating The St. Mark Community Development Corporation (CDC), where he served as President, CEO. The St. Mark (CDC) oversees 10 million dollars of new construction, real estate, and commercial business.
In 2000 under the leadership of Dr. Jordan St. Mark youth department grew from the, 106 youth to 570 youth by the end of 2002. In 2005, baptize over 300 young people through out the area (youth in the community.) In 2006 Dr. Jonathan Jordan reached and baptized 733 youth in the south suburbs of Chicago, IL. From January 2007 until May 2007 Dr. Jordan baptized 450 youth. In 2008 Dr. Jonathan Jordan has ministered through out the United States.
Over 15 youth ministries St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church, the youth department stands over 1,700 young people ages ranging for 2 years of age to 21years of age. Dr. Jonathan Jordan is married to his lovely wife Kristal & they have a beautiful baby daughter Krista who is 4 years of age.
